Here is my latest challenge ! It's a referal from one of my top customers. This truck apparently was in a tornado in Nebraska. most of the windows were blown or broke out and the truck has a nice coat of dirt throughout the whole thing. I t also had some debris in it , I did inform the customer a new headliner is an option or I can give it a whirl. after body work, paint, windows, and some mechanical work it's up to me to finish it.what I did was take a soft 4 inch by inch brush and my air compressor and went to town. It got a little dusty needless to say but it worked. there is a fine layer of padding above the headliner material that I know is holding very little dirt but it cannot be seen on the grey material and if you pat the roof you do not get any dust . anyway here is the first picture and I will post one more which is where I left off for tonight...

Here is where I left off for the night. I have to clean up around the handles and visors plus there is a spot on the right side by the passenger doors. Now normally I do all my degreasing/pressure washing of the door jams first but not on this one .I needed to get as much of that caked dirt out of the headliner, seats and floor first. to avoid creating mud .I'll keep this project posted as I go if anyone is interested.I have it for a few days. I forgot to mention it a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer.

Sorry I meant to post this picture of the headliner first ..all the dust must have gotton to me lol. this was while I was in the process of getting all the dirt out. I think the improvement is fairly obvious..

I started by smacking myself in the head after the customer left...lol actually all i could do was gently work the dirt out of the headliner with a brush and compressor. I have this problem that I can't say no unless I know it's going to be wasted effort and customer money.:peace:
