Well it just HAILED in austin about 10mins ago, one quarter sized hail.

My baby got hit pretty hard, i can faintly see the dents, not sure of the total damage yet since it's still raining outside but I'm pretty sure it's a lot.

So, whats the cost of hail repair? small dents but a lot of them? I do have insurance for it too...

My car had a perfect body, no dents at all and now this.... so ticked off!

Gah, gonna go cry in the corner

Oh damn! Sorry that happened to you man. That's always one of my biggest fears when it rains in my neck of the woods. You might want to try a paintless dent removal place.

I rushed home as soon as I could and put my truck in the garage Minh! Sorry to hear that you got hit with it. My wife is still out and about, so I'm hoping she got lucky...

North Austin got hit the most (Round Rock area). Just took the blanket off my car and I already spotted three dents :(, don't know how many more until I wash my car.

I'll look into the paintless dent removal, my baby won't be the same anymore.

Im not too far out of Round Rock. Just in Georgetown. (Next town over). It just rained like a mother. I was at the Rec Center working out, looking out the window. Lights flickered a few times.

Sorry to hear about the incident.

Dang, that sucks dude. It was hailing in my area too this past weekend but they certainly weren't quarter-sized.

That sucks, good thing you have insurance though. I think I remember reading something about how insurance companies are trying to alter the weather so it doesn't hail, haha.

Here's a picture my friend took, the hail at my house was a tad bit smaller.

oh man sorry to hear that. when i just bought my GTI brand new earlier this year, the day after i got it, it randomly started hailing like a MOFO. you should have seen me tearing apart cardboard boxes and running outside trying to cover up the car haha. thankfully there was no damage. it was convenient that i had just recieved a large order from DD and had PLENTY of cardboard boxes on hand. thanks Phil!

wow! I just saw some pictures that my aunt sent me and the hail was huge! She lives in Austin. It cracked her windshield all over and dented up her hood and roof!

Loos like the glass companies and PDR guys will be making a pretty penny from that storm.

Its times like this when it is good to diversify and invest in some PDR skills. We were supposed to get hit hard last night but I only heard a few small specks of hail tap the windows on the house. Sounded more like a couple minutes of sleet.

My brother got it bad a few years ago. The only thing he could do was pull in to an IHOP and watch through the window as his car became totaled, one dent at a time.
