Special thanks to George aka ghost28. Thanks for the help man.:headbang:
Looks good, mine is finally coming in today. i7-920, 6gb Tri Channel 1066mb, 512mb video, 23 inch monitor. Should be pretty sick.
Yeah, the only problem is it's in a Mini Tower and is pretty loud at some times. I duno if you can overclock it either.
I say multi-boot. Install your favorite flavor of Linux, partition the drive and install your other OSes on those partitions. OR my new favorite practice, use VMWare and create virtual machines. Make a clean image of each OS and then if something goes FUBAR you just fall back to the clean image.
Lookin good, Cooter! I sorely need to rebuild my desktop at home. I built it about 3 or 4 years ago I think, and it's just time for a new one...
Congrats on the comp Heath! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Hehe, I went the VMWare route. It's nice to run multiple O.S.'s at the same time. :applause2:
I'm thinking about upgrading my RAM, adding a Blue-Ray DVD drive, getting a larger monitor, and a good set of speakers. Anyone ever own these speakers? JBL Home Audio
Can't say that I've used those speakers but if you're going the home theater route, you might as well go for 5.1 at least. :thumb:
