Just got my January 2010 copy of Popular Photography & the editors have voted for camera of the year 2009:

 

$8000 camera body is camera of the year? Odd.

it is an amazing camera...I got to try it out when i was looking for my new camera...I can totally see why it was the best but it is really expensive in less you are a pro

 

Way too expensive for me. I'd rather have a nice camera and several lenses. $8000 would buy a very nice camera and ALOT of very nice lenses.

 

Hmm...yea I wonder what the criteria where :shrug: still a very nice camera :thumb:

I'm leaning more to Cannon my self but choices is always good :nod:

 

Honestly, I thought for certain it'd be the 7D or something along the lines of the D5000 or T1i.

We could all throw $50 in the pot and we could have the camera for a week each LOL!! Well you guys could. I'll just put up with my POS $1500 camera.

 

24.5 mp? that would be useful for all those billboard sized photos i print off.
