Hi, my 08 Dodge Charger got keyed back in Nov of last year. I had it repainted but put sealant on it right away! :( No one at the body shop told me I had to wait 90 days before sealing like I'm hearing now..

I just took off the sealant but 90 days have already passed. Man! What damage can happen and what should I look for to assess any damage?

    Thanks!

You can get dyeback, which just oxidizes the paint. It can be polished out. If nothing happened already you're safe. If you got dyeback, you just gotta polish it. No permanent damage will occur.

you shouldn't have any damage, although I wouldn't seal the paint in the first 90 days...

I'd say the not sealing the paint rule is more of a precaution, damage can happen, but that doesn't mean it's going to. Your door should be fine.
