nice work on that. Some cars just take a while to work on. 27 hours is probably about right for the size of the car and the work that needed to be done.
nice job. my parents own a 76 (i think) MB 450SL convertible with the same color paint and basically same interior scheme that i'll be doing at some point this spring or summer. how was the paint to work with? im worried about my parents benz because the previous owner had a Maaco respray the whole car and it looks like hell..
:agree: I wouldn't change a thing to what you did. The results speak for themselves! You took that car from tired and neglected to elegant and proud. As it should be. Wonderful car and beautiful detail. Kudos! I'm sure the owner was absolutely thrilled.
Thank you guys! :worship2: It was a lot of work. But it was well worth it. I saw it the other day and it still looks great. He kept his promise and is keeping it in good shape.
It is a 1975. It was one stage paint. It took quite a few passes with 105 but it came out beautiful. Then when you put on the 205 and the wax it looks amazing. After you apply the 205 you will be super stoked. It is amazing. Thank you guys for the support! :thumb:
