Mercedes S500: re-visit The owner of this car is on my maintenance program but they took the car on a trip and drove through a swarm of locusts. I have never seen the number of bugs that was stuck to the car, but she wanted it to be cleaned anyway. It was only scheduled to be an exterior cleaning but I did the interior for free just to round off the job since this customer is a pleasure to work for. Products+Process: -ONR wash -Optimum Power Clean pre-soak on bugs -Top-up LSP with another layer of Collinite 845 -Optimum Opti-bond tire dressing -Planet Polish Wheel Seal + Shine on the rims -Duragloss Aquawax on the windows -Thorough vacuum w/ Shopvac -Carpets cleaned with Folex -Wipedown for dust with a plush towel -AG Fast Glass on all interior glass -303 Protectant on all plastic, vinyl, and leather I hate making excuses, but my camera was dead so I don't have any shots of the bugs. Here are the befores of the interior: The Interior turned out very nicely, I am very happy with the results: The Exterior wasn't too bad, just some light dirt and grime from some rain. Haha, yes sir. I actually found out the story behind it this time though: the owner's mother used to say yes yes to everything from agreeing to a question and since it is hard to be original with personal plates these days, the owner decided to use it.
Thanks guys! I have to say, I am not a big fan of white cars but it suits this S class very well the more I work on it. Since this car is on my maintanence plan, I will continually try to do something extra everytime I work on it to improve the white, but I hope to schedule it for a full correction.
