1st off just want to say thanx for the fellow DB'ers that had mentioned this product.

I dont remember exactly who it was, just stumbled across thread posts last week.

Anyways, i was able to purchase it @ WallyWorld. Some of the guys said some had stopped

carrying it, the Walmart i frequent had it avail.:thumb:

it worked great for OTC product imo.

products cleaned were uber 5.5 pads

    green w/P203s

    blue w/85rd

    blue w/cg ez-creme glaze

    black w/powerlock

spray-apply product, dwelling time varies on product on pad (aprox 15 min)

scrub-agitate with orange uber pad brush and rinse =)

    clean-citrus type scent,non chemical smelling.

    thanx again fellas :headbang:

Wow did it really take out powerlock? I looked for it at Wally world but there was a tag but none on the shelf. It is so hard to find.

for PL i had to reapply-let dwell-agitate the next day, it still had that "solvent" smell on

the uber pad. not after the second round though

Be careful and make sure you thoroughly rinse it out. Read on another thread that it deteriorates foam due to the aggressive chemicals. Someone sprayed it on a foam applicator pad as a test and left it on overnight, next day the foam was falling apart. Just make sure you rinse it all out.

It's a great product. I usually try and get as much out just by using water, then spray some PD on there and let it sit for 15 minutes or so, then rinse it out. Have not had any issues with foam applicators falling apart.

That was me :hi: I used it on flat pads with great success. I also used it on those little yellow wax applicator pads and it destroyed the wax! Which made me really curious. I sprayed one with some wax on it, left it to soak overnight and when I started to rinse the next day chunks of foam just flaked off. It was very interesting. I'm going to do it again this weekend and post pictures if I get the same results. I also have a couple old pads that I plan to test this with.

Been using DPD for 2 years with no problems. But then again, I don't let it soak overnight.

I did it on purpose. It's not a common practice.

Been using DPD for a few years works great cleaning all my products except BFWD I don't clean these pads. It won't clean these pads at all ! It just repels the water! That's what sold me on BFWD durablity.

I originally posted about the stuff on autopia a few years ago. I have been using for over 3 years now. On megs and lake pads, I've had no issues. I have had some of the cheapo applicator pads fall apart, but I'm not sure if they would have fallen apart on their own. Like anything else, test first, and unless you are about to junk the pad anyway, don't let it sit overnight.
