Longtime client of mine called me this afternoon asking me what to use on his sisters headlights to remove the haze....

2 questions later I stopped him and said they need wetsanding come over at 6 tonite and we will get it handled.

After wetsanding with 1500grit, followed by 2500grit

Awesome, I was just about to give wetsanding headlights a shot on my pathfinder. What did you use for polish/pads? Also did you use a rotary or do you think the Griot's DA will be fine?

My headlights on both of my Camaros(one 1998 Z28 and one 1999 SS) are hazed. I don't have a DA yet; is it required to polish the lights out? I will be getting a Griots but no sure when, and when I do get one, it'll probably be the 6" not the 3". What about the drill mounted tools, are they any good?

Can you explain your steps in your process? My headlamps have those small 1/4 tall "NIPPLES"(for the lack of a better term). There are two per lamp and I was thinking I could use a dremel and slowly cut them off and grind them down and the begin the wetsanding/polishing process.
