what's everyone using to pull the grime off their tires? Been using 1Z blitz, AG CWC, and OPT power clean to clean my tires, but i'm looking for something a lil cheaper.

on a side note, AG CWC pulls more dirt from the tire than any other cleaner i've seen!

I agree on the megs super degreaser. Some light scrubbing and it rips thru all the crap on the rubber.

I use Westley's Bleche-Wite very effective at less than 3 bucks a bottle at walmart.

I've been using Bleche White for years and it works wonders on nasty tires. CarQuest sells the gallon really cheap.

I've been thinking about getting ARO, but I've been extremely happy with Bleche White.

AM MAGnificent is best tire cleaner I ever used hands down 6:1 or even 10:1. Spray it on and it sticks almost like gel and doesnt run, but the liquid turn brown from all the grime it pulls out of tires. Then you can scrub them and get them even cleaner. Powerclean is great if I cant rinse and have to use ONR wash.

Optimum Power Clean is my first choice but still see some tires needed extra attention.

I don't trust Super Degreaser or Zep Purple in case it comes in contact with the rims.

I use the super degreaser and dilute it about 2:1. I've been using it for about 6 months now and haven't had a problem with it effecting the rims or anything. I spray it on, agitate with a brush that's sitting in simple green diluted 3:1, then rinse well.

    I completely agree with this

I just sprayed it on, and it really just pulls the dirt out so fast that it makes some pretty nasty run off. It's diluted 4:1 if you are wondering.

I will admit I had concerns about this too. However, so long as you keep everything wet and rinse well, you should be fine. It's all a matter of solution chemistry. The water provides sort of like a first contact point rather than just bare paint or wheel finish.

AG CWC, I have tried or still use AM MAGnificent, zep purple and citrus and megs super degreaser and Grime Reaper. AG CWC wins hands down and I don't have to worry abouting staining polished aluminum.

I will still recommend Meg's SD because of this requirement.

    For example:

A 5 litre jug CWC is around $40. At it's MOST diluted state (1:1), you are paying $4 per litre.

A gallon (We'll call it 4 litres to make the math easy) of Meg's SD is around $15. At it's LEAST diluted state (4:1), you are paying 75 cents per litre.

Of course, it's not quite safe on uncoated/polished wheels, but reserve the CWC for those instances only.

FWIW, I always have wheel cleaner dwelling on the wheel before spraying/scrubbing tires. Also, I've found Meg's SD to work as well or better than CG Grime Reaper.
