was trying to polish lip of a car today but after i tried couple things it seemed to haze the finish a little, things i tried CG metal wax on orange pad (probably was mistake) but it worked great on other aluminum piece from same car Opt metal polish, worked the best but still not good enough on blue pad with PC mothers aluminum polish on uber blue pad with PC P21S finish restorer, didnt do anything even tried 85rd on blue pad and didnt do anything
Have you tried a good AIO like XMT360/Poli-seal? I find that either of those two really polish up softer metals without leaving any marring behind and they also clean out the oxidised metal and lay down some protection in the process.
