Just recently completed(with assitance from the "BING") this car had some re-sprayed panels and the problems that come with that(sand scratches & tracers) along with U.V. damaged and dried out trim.
After a thorough wash/clay etc.... I started with the decklid first as this part of the car is tight confines and I wanted to "Work downhill" after the correction on this part of the car.

    First 50/50's.

    Nice work!

Do you have any tips on polishing outside? I don't have a garage :(

Get a garage" .......J/K . There in Texas I know the summers are hot and winter can be cold, correcting paint outside is not advisable if it can be helped but my only advice is to borrow a garage of a family member or friend if possible as you need temp control and no dirt settling on the car from the wind.

What's your method for removing 'dead' rubber trim?

    Kind regards,

    Bob,

Excellence as usual. I'm sure this was a little more comfortable then the "saw dust job". What's your favorite clay? Also, what is your preferred method of correcting cloudy and marred headlight and tailight covers? I know 3M sells a kit. Is that any good?
