Andy at it again...

Mods please do not delete this as we have someone stealing my good name. Andy is now posting up videos on youtube as "Auto Concierge" of course they are exotics with no proof he ever worked on them and are cars from "Houston cars & coffee events........this guy will just not stop so putting him into the "Light of exposure" will always be needed.

Sorry to hear that Bob, this guy needs to be taken out back and..... I know you work really hard to make a name for yourself, it's a shame that there are people out there that have nothing better to do than pull stunts like this.

If everyone should know, he along with someone else(In my backyard) is why Richie and I do not put up our products and steps on the write ups we do. If some will remember I would help at a drop of a hat to help anyone who needed help, but I grew weary of internet B.S. and embellisment and frankly developed a "Zero tolerance" for it.

Not trying to make drama just informing as to the "Why" and "How" and exposing someone who deserves harsh ridicule.

 

I googled auto concierge and I see a lot of people using the same title but this one is Houston Auto Concierge. Is there one that is causing the trouble?

On a side note, I thought the video with the James Bond theme was quite well done in terms of sound/effects. The actual car shot was just average.

When I started my service in 94 I did a search through out California and the US, and at that time I was the only "Auto Concierge", yes Andy is Houston Auto Detail although when he was in Denver he called his service "Zenith Detail", so when he moved to Houston why would he change his name..........to the name of the guy he had a internet war with hmmmm I guess it is flattering in a way, but he also cut n pasted Paul Dalton's website as well so he must think we are doing something right to copy us both instead of creating his own persona.

In a way yes.....but I just continually out liars like this and it makes me smile, after all he is emulating me(Or attempting too) and it is humerous as almost everyone by now knows the deal about him.

 

Bob, why do you even care so much about what this guy does? Your work speaks for itself so I don't see a reason why you should really care what this guy does. It's really a waste of your time to search the entire internet just to see what he's up to. Besides, he's in Houston, why do you care?

If it were me, I really wouldn't give a shit unless there were metrics that show that it's affecting my conversion. That's my two cents.

Man sometimes I'm glad I dont do high end cars anymore, no one wants to steal my pics lol, but I know ones things for sure I'd be upset about it if it happened, just sucks that people have to steal another mans work

Just to throw a little oil on the fire....There's no proof he didn't do the car/work either, so....

But as Denzil said, why care so much? Let it go. The people you will get as future clients will be referred to you by the current ones who know how well you work. I don't think he will actually tarnish your reputation and make you lose any credibility, so why bother?

I have to agree with Denzil as well, he's not a part of this forum. And as far as posting what you do and don't do and what chemicals you do and don't use, what does it really matter? Bob I have asked you a few questions and you have been more then helpful, but I think someone said they don't post it up cause it's how they feed their family or some mess like that.

I mean really?? Like they have some top secret way of polishing or some top secret chemical that is exclusive to only them??

If I were Andy and I caught wind of this, I would be laughing my ass off that I could still get under your skin some how...especially if you keep looking for ways you feel he's copying you.

 

I do not think what some poser did on youtube takes away from anything you do, or did. I saw his website and its an obvious rip off of Paul Daltons site. As for the name, that would bother me if I was in your shoes....... sounds like he really likes you, or wants to be you. I mentioned along time ago when you posted something related to this guy about getting your business name trademarked, then you could in therory take legal action against him, but I agree with Dust and Denzil; who cares what he does. Its not like he is detailing cars in Dublin or Castro Valley taking your business away from you directly.

 

Denzil/Joey, did he call your wife a "half breed c**nt?, did he call the water resource board to have you fined for non-compliance?, did he lie about you?, these things alone are bad enough but there is much much more. Denzil it has nothing to do with my "Ego" but what is right and just and companies sue over such matters everyday, so until you are versed in what is really going on your opinion is ill-informed at best.

What he is doing does not affect me at the end of the day but he is getting away with "Tom foolery" and he needs to be stopped plain & simple.

 

At one point he did try just that with posts that he was opening up a shop in Burlingame for his limo service/detailing and even gave a time frame as a sponsor on L4P, of course a detailer who I made a mistake to have work with me tried to align with him and come after me but that did not work out so well did it Mr AC.

So gentlemen he really did more than just call himself "Auto Concierge" at the end of the day and I suspect many of you who say I should not care would have a different take in my shoes.
