I wanna upgrade my lightning on Infiniti to HID Xenon. I'm thinkig of staying in $200-350 range. I really want ballast to be made in USA, Germany, or Japan only. I don't want a kit off ebay.
I wanna stay with 6K color, to get maximum light/and get slightly bluewish look. 9004 is what I'm looking for.

Not sure wheather I want just the low beams HID, or Bi-Xenon, maybe those of you who had previously installed them
Anyway, here is what I found so far:

Anyone had any experience with these? Do you know where ballast is made in?

I'm upgrading my lightning for safety reasons, once you try HID xenon, you don't go back to halogen, not enough light.

    Thanks in advance.

Make sure you either get a Philips or a Hella ballast. Best in the industry.

that's what I actually want. But those kits cost $500. I'm trying to find a cheaper, yet as dependable alternative.

Have you looked at Sylvania? Heard good things about them as well.

Yes, but it had the regular white ones and I didn't want the white ones so I had to replace the existing kit with a new kit I also got the high bean replaced with HID kits :D

right the kit I have in the Mondeo is by a company called NuXen I highly recommend these as the light is awesome and a crystal white light not the crappy illegal blue light that blinds everybody...I went for the 500K kit which over in the UK is about as high as u can go and still be road legal. hope this helps

    their web site is www.nuxen.com

If you are going for lighting, you optimally want 4300k. That's what all cars come with from the factory with if they have stock HID. Thats bright white light. I had a 5000k kit for my old car from Mculloch and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
