I will try to do a black or dark color car soon so that you can see more of the flashing effect, but this video will give you an idea of how I apply Opti Coat with great results.

Great video chris. Like the spray bottle idea. It flashed a lot quicker than I though it would have.

    Thanks for the video...

I know this would be not possible but would be great if it was tinted red or some color so you know where you applied it before it flashed off....ha..

I take it a quick wipe of a mf (light tough) to help even it out if you have some high spots or more saturated spots that do not seem to flash off at the same rate at surrounding areas.

Opti guard after one hour, Opti coat 2.0 after 12 hours.

You can go over it till it starts flashing clear then just to level anything not clear. There's no need to touch it if it flashes clear because there is no residue.

I love the fact you do not have to mess with buffing it out.........I was impressed with level of marring resistance from basic washing Cquartz has, how does this stack up? Anyone?

I think the sprayer increases my efficiency by spreading the product over the face of the applicator, but I use the same amount either way...so as long as there is no wind, they are about the same.

I just finished applying Opti-Coat V2 to 2011 WRX that I corrected and now it has streak marks on it. I am guessing the product flashed on the panels to quickly and dried with streak marks. I applied it in my garage but I live in El Paso and the temperature was 103 today and it was pretty hot still in there, I had the door open to let the air in from in the house but it was still hot and dried the streak marks quickly. I got some out but there are still a few over the paintwork. I am very displeased with application process. Its been on there for about 2 hours is there anyway I can remove the steak marks but not the coating with a blue Uber and say Menzerna 85RD without removing the coating, I also have Autoglym Super Resin Polish?? The client is moving out of town tomorrow and needs the vehicle this was a prep for the trip so there is not time to re order and re apply. This need to be corrected and finished tonight. Any help would be much appreciated if I cant get a response I am going to remove the coating and apply Blackfire Wet Diamond and not charge the client for 2 hours of work.
