Might want to add some Meguiar's Microfiber pads in there for heavier cutting. And you'll want a finishing polish if you don't already have one; like M205 At that rate, maybe you'll want to ditch the M105 for D300 which is formulated for the MF pads.

Anyone else wanna chime in - I'm curious how M105 stacks up against D300.

I'd ditch the orange pad and get two of the black

I see I would pick up the Meg's D300 and Meg's MF Cutting Pads.

Might as well get two of those Uber sponges!

For the Brinkmann, I find it 's only effective on certain colors. For light colors such as silver or white, I don't see any use out of it. As for black though, it's really good at showing spot defects.

Is a "Foam Pad Conditioning Brush" really necessary? I just use a toothbrush and turn the PC on at speed 1 to brush out the built up gunk.

Looks like a good order nonetheless!

Get 2 yellow, 2 green and one black for pads, and buy an extra black pad.

Agree with all the above posts. The Uber sponges are so cheap you may as well.

    +1 on this.
Phil recommended these to me too, and it got some REALLY deep scratches out without marring. I'm not quite sure how bad the paint will be on the cars you are working on, but D300 and MF pads would probably cut through a majority of the bad damage you see.

If it helps, I have a thread on getting the PC. Quite a few people on the forum chimed in and gave a huge list of products. In the end, I have a set list of everything I got.
