hi guys i have a 2010 bmw 535xi and its a lease my lease end oct 23rd 2012...my son wants to take over the lease, How do we get this done fast? can we complete the lease transfer though the dealership i leased the car from? And can I co-sign the lease transfer application for my son if his credit isn't good enough?

If you plan on co signing you might was well just let him drive it and pay you. You will ultimately be on the hook. Make sure you have enough credit because co signing will eat up available credit to buy other items for you.

Assuming it's leased from BMW Financial Services, you'll need to call them and ask the best way to go about it. If you're going to have to co-sign anyway, it may just make sense to keep the lease and have your son pay you. That would avoid any transfer fees. Be sure that the insurance you have is appropriate.

    Good luck.

I would call BMWFS, I believe the transfer fee is 500 but I may be wrong
