Horribly off topic here. ...but thought I'd post a few of these pictures over here on this forum as well because I like it and hate not contributing anything. On a more related note, now that I'm getting everything mechanically back in order after all the running my Disco has been doing lately. The time is soon coming where I'm going to be posting and needed you guys to help me out with a few exterior and interior problems. New Mexico on into Colorado Campsite 12,000+ elevation. Ridiculously cold, ridiculously windy night. Next day, in Moab, Utah [8D] On the way to out Moab campsite
Looks like you had a great time man. I have fun when I just go 4 wheeling in my brothers Jeep Wrangler in the sand dunes here in El Paso LOL.
very cool man, i'd be afraid to climb some of those rocks in a disco, i mean, think of all the things that could go wrong and the expensive repairs...yikes! but it definitely looked fun. :headbang:
Awesome pics! I would love to go and ride some Slick Rock with my mountain bike. The tents on the LR's are really cool, never seen that before.
Thanks for the compliments. It's hard not to have fun in the sand dunes. Sounds like good stuff. Last time we went through El Paso I got to spend a day at a Toyota shop waiting on a Land Cruiser to get fixed so that out group could continue to Arizona. lol Ha, that's why I do everything from the ground up, electrics, mechanical, to appearances on my Disco myself. xD I don't blame you, a few times along the way I wished I had brought my MTB.
That's a sweet trip. I've been telling my wife that we should do something like this before we have kids. I actually have a friend that still has family in Utah as well so they would be probably good guides for us.
