So I'm considering wrapping my recently purchased 2009 Chevy Express Cargo Van. Does anyone have any idea's or suggestions as to what should most importantly be listed on the van. Perhaps some key things: Business Name Number Email Web Address Some Services? Headlight Restoration Paint Correction Interior Wash & Wax Got to get my wording down. Toss anything my way as I'll be sending over some ideas to the design people. I'm hoping for something catchy for sure. Thanks folks!
I don't know how it works in your part of the world, but here if you want to have publicity on a moving road vehicle, it needs to be registered as a work vehicle or else you get a nasty fine and have to remove the vinyl on the spot. As for what info is to be included, it seems like you've got everything you need. Good luck with the project. :thumb:
Just keep your wording simple really or there is to much to read. Another reason not to live in canada lol just joking.
Fixed LOL! Ken, In Quebec, work vehicles have different license plates. They all start with an "F". So, it's easy to tell if the car is registered as a work vehicle or not. See images: Standard plate: Work vehicle plate:
Here in nj our commercial vehicles have "Commerical" on the license pates...go figure. Registered business with the state .. registered commercial vehicle... commercial auto insurance policy..they all go hand in hand dont they? i dont see why anyone would run a business and not have everything in line. just my opinion. I dont know how hawaii works so if this doesn't apply then disregard!
Why do they do that Joey? Here, we just insure our vehicles for work and its noted on our insurance. Are there areas work vehicles can park without getting ticketed or anything like that? I have artisan insurance on my car. Insures me for work, pleasure etc. There isn't any additional insurance I can get for it. I'm covered for anything. Some vehicles like my clients have small, additional commercial plates but it allows them to park in alleys etc in Vancouver for work without being towed.
Other than for proof that it's a vehicle registered for work to be tax deductible, I don't know why they do it. It's just how it is here in bumfucksville. Oh, and for profit, work plates cost a lot more than regular ones. Then it goes with work insurance which is close to double than a regular car.
