It was really a great weekend. It was mid 50's here on Saturday and mid 70's here on Sunday. I got my truck all washed up nice and pretty. Yesterday afternoon, it started with sleet and freezing rain. Then today, BAM! We received 11 inches of snow. What a real mess this is. Then to top it off, I couldn't get my Snow Blower to start. Damn, I'm too old for this shoveling stuff. I think I'll move back to South Florida again.
Same here in Indiana! Low 60's Sunday, Today, freezing rain - sleet - ice - wind but only 6" of snow to accumulate. I guess thats a good thing. Dave
Yeah, it was a mess here today in St. Louis. I left work at noon and headed home in my trusty '01 A6. I stayed on the sideroads, the highways were a mess. I feel your pain on the clean cars. My wife stays at home, so one is still clean anyway.
Mid 50's is a very cold winter day in south Florida. I don't want to remember what 11" of snow is like.
I know. Only spent a year in Lauderdale. It was 40 one day and everyone was wearing their winter coats. I wore a lightweight jacket that day and everyone thought I was completely nuts!
Hahaha! Nica, I understand completely... 11"??? Whats that? In my "neighbourhood" there has been registered up to 10 FEET! Kinda funny, actually:giggle:
Come on Spring. I've got a nasty case of the winter blues, and this crazy weather isn't helping. My car needs a detail something fierce.
Can you believe how clear the sky is today? Office window seat FTW! I'm getting my light therapy in this morning.
