The start of my backyard-updated

I decided to put a parkingpad/wash station in my backyard... well the guys doing it started today.. here is what it looks like so far















and here are the bricks we are goingt o be putting in







i will update as progress is made

 

I would kill for some of that quality dirt. The red clay here is horrible.

That is going to be WICKED!!! If all goes well, I should have my engineered slab on Saturday!

 

I guees the lastt guy who lived here was a huge gardner..had prize winning stuff so he dug it all out and put down a few feet of top quility soil

its a car port type thing, i already have a 2 car garage so this is more of a carport/wash pad

sweet we want pics... and im so excited fot this... it should look awsome with the interlocking brick, i thought of just a cement slab but decuded it would be cooler to drive cars onto the grey brick....

 

Lucky, must be nice to be able to do things to your house... I hate HOA

 

Nice, looking good Calgarydetail...but how will you be washing vehicles in the winter I say turn it to an extension to the existing garage...just an idea :whistle:

 

haha not going to happen.... dont have the cash to redo the whole garage, I will be puttong a heater in the garage, drywalling it, and makeing it so i can wash in the winter, but when its a nice sunny day i want to be outside in the sun.... plus when i sell the house this can be listed as a parking/rv pad

thanks.... its comming along, the big gate is finnaly up. I washed my car in my backyard yesterday, it was great.

Looks great! Going to buy a tarp to that you can fit over the fence so if it starts raining you can easily cover the car?

 

Someone needs to detail that white beauty in the background!
