Aston for me. Look at the Youtube posted above, and listen to the wail of that V12. That seals it for me.
I would take a Bentley, but it would have to be a Flying Spur. The Gt is ugly. Nothing says your f!@#$ing loaded like a Bentley!
The BB9 in each and ever situation. It stays classy, and gives that awesome first impression, yet is very sporty. Plus, the Bently is just too cushy, and gives that old man impression. Oh, oh, and the SOUND of the DB9 is unbeatable compared to any bently
after detailing that black Conti GT, I would do the AM, the Bentley paint is amazing but too much high maintenance
WAY softer, it marred with a soft waffle weave while drying it. We had to use Eurow super plush and even then be careful.
Just because you encountered one extremely soft Bentley doesn't mean they all are. Kinda like BMW, their Jet Black is super soft and the rest of the colors range from average to very hard. FWIW the Bentley I detailed was on the softer side of average, but certainly manageable.
Those are both great cars, but I'd go for the Bentley. I'd take a Maserati Granturismo S over both of those, though (it's cheaper too).
That's a sweet looking car. I actually saw a Maserati on the 10 fwy last Saturday. I pulled over to its left to see who was driving it, it was a man who was probably about 75 years old.
Not to dig up an older thread, but some of you know about my old man and his craziness when it comes to higher end cars. Last week he picked up an '09 black DB9. Interior is black with gloss black interior trim. I saw it for the first time this evening. Ran into him at the local hardware store. Saw a DB9 rolling up the parking lot, and figured well, that's gotta be my dad. He told me he waxed it today and I think it was with some Collinite 845. I'll try to get some pics in next few weeks.
