He died of complications from phnemonia (sp?). He's been sick for sometime. I live in Chicago were Bernie's from so its been covered extensively on the local news before the rest of world even new about it. He had some type of a lung disease which may have led to this. Bernie was a good guy and did a lot in the community. Hell I met him once at a White Sox game.
