Todays detail was an absolute beauty! Packed under the Black Sapphire Metallic paint is 300 Ponies, 300 torque ft/lbs twin turbo’d! The interior red leather in contrast with the black is absolutely stunning. The roof collapses down and tucks away into the trunk with a click of a button.
Unfortunately the paint was in horrible shape as it only gets a wash every two months or so buy her younger sister (Who supposedly does a 'pretty good' job)
Underneath the hood clear bra was etched in somethin that I couldn't get off. It appeared to be under the clear bra since I was able to remove the swirls off it, but whatever was under it remained no matter what I did.

She was so happy with the results that she wants to rock my decal and will be returning for bi-triweekly washes

Total time is about 9 hours

Just a quick rinse/dressing of the engine bay. Wasn't included but I figured since I wanted to take a peak of the beast within, I may as well do a quick clean up inside

Exhaust tips that probably never got any attention. Carbon deposits etched in even after all the elbow grease

Thought some of you may be interested in the technique I use. I do the horizontol followed by vertical method. Overlapping half each time

i tell you man . . . . . since back several years ago when i use to work for BMW i have always loved the red interior. It just gives the car a totally different look.

Car came out looking great man and i'm glad the customer was thrilled with your work. As for the two corners . . . . i encounter stuff like that at times. It is baked on break dust and you either need to use a strong wheel cleaner.

Meguiars Wheel Brightener is usually what needs to be used on BMW's that have never really seen a detail. The break dust is just lethal on those cars.

That's great work man! You're really getting a ton of cars now! I've seen your work in AZine and they have all impressed me.

That's looking good mate, very nice! But why the different badges with the red in it?
