Here is a preview of what I'll be working on next week. I gave it a wash yesterday as a potential buyer is coming to see it today. As it arrived. Alcantara: After the wash: I'll post the full write up next week.
Oh my. That's trashed. You wonder why they don't raise the price 2K and have a pro detail the vehicle before it leaves the factory. I mean, people who buy a 2010 DBS are not really concerned with a couple thousand extra on the ticket. But then again, I guess we should be happy they don't do that. Otherwise you wouldn't get the pleasure of working on such a beautiful car.
OH MY! PPPPLLLEEEAAASSSEEE help that poor girl out! I'm shocked it could be in such bad condition fresh off the boat
can somebody explain to me how this buffer trails apear on that kind of car? do they buff at factory or something or its something during shipping?
Buffer trails are going to be from the factory and most of the swirls I say may be from port where the car may of been washed or something rubbing against it.
All Astons are DA sanded to remove the orange peel. Once the cars are completed they have a limited time to get them wrapped and loaded into shipping containers and results in the defects shown above. Ferrari, Lambo and Porsche have the same issues in regards to the quality of the paint finish, but I'm not complaining as it keeps me in business.
What the fuuuuu-. They trashed it. I can't wait for the final pics either, one of my all time favorite cars.
the truth is this...to keep a paint job perfect, you have to have an attitude of willing to keep it perfect, and the sad truth is, most people don't mean to leave marks like that, but the problem is they don't MEAN NOT TO! It's all about the attitude of the person toward the paint, and let's face it, we are a few and dying breed lol
