First off I wanna say a big "THANK YOU" to Scott and his family. There were nice enough to put me up for the night and allow me to do the detail at their house. All for a jar of wax! Scott's mom is the absolute bomb! First night we had fajitas, and then for lunch the next day we had turkey and ham sandwiches!! Scott I don't blame you for living at home brotha..... Exterior Process: Engine Bay: Pre-rinse with power washer Pre-soak with Super 43 APC, agitated with various brushes Rinsed off Air compressed excess water Conditioned with White Pearl Wheels, Tires and Whells Wheels pressure washed, pre-soaked with AG CWC and agitated with Uber sponge, SV wheel brush and inners with Daytona Wheel brush Once dried, Scott hand polished with a mix of Ez Creme/PB PwS via white 4" lc pad Tires rinsed, soaked in Super 43, agitated with a stiff brush then dressed with White Pearl Wells rinsed, soaked in Super 43, agitated with various brushes and when rinsed and dried, hand wiped with a MF to ensure cleanliness. Wash Process: Power washed off, pre-soaked with LA's Awesome APC, then foamed with a mixture of AG PM3, Showroom FX citrus wash and CG CWC. Agiated emblems and various plastic pieces with brushes and apc. Hand washed with Ulti-mitt Then rinsed off Clayed with Riccardo Yellow and Showroom FX QD, dried with Showroom FX WW towels and blew out crevices of excess water Paint: Proceeded to do a light glaze/clean with EZ Creme/PB PwS via PC and 5.5" black flat pads. Buffed off with Showroom FX fluffy towels. Protection was with Menz. Powerlock via PC and gold lc pads. I noticed this stuff doesn't spread evenly like BF AFPP, but I did up/down and left/right to ensure proper coverage. Let cure for a couple of hours and then waxed half the truck with RG 55 and Zymol Ital. I know some of ya'll are gonna freak cause the sealant didn't set for 12-24 hours. So :chillpill: When it was all said and done, the surface was amazingly slick! Almost too slick!!
Very nice pictures!! D2G has always done top notch work! What foam gun is that and are you just using it with a regular water hose?
Mike, you are right, that is a beautiful truck!!!! Great job man!!!!!!! Looks awesome!!!!!! That interior is sweet!
wow nice work guys. Truck looks great! You guys got some good photo taking skillz. What camera and lens was used in getting some of those crisp shots?
Nice work boys, and lovely photography. Scott - I see you have the Pocketwizards, but what is the light you are using?
wow. that is one expensive camera . . . . . . pics came out super crisp though. Any tips? It's kind of weird that some pictures in my experience come out really crisp and some don't.
Great work scott and michael ... how did you guys like the powerlock and raceglaze 55 combo. I'm thinking about using this combo on my car in a few weeks.
yea this truck was awesome! It grew a lot on me... very well made up! Thanks man... its a foam cannon attached to my pressure washer Thanks Heath He got all his skillz from me!! Thanks Piet
Dude honestly, I don't know if we got the full effect of the Powerlock. We probably didn't let it cure like it's supposed to. But from what we did.... it was ULTRA smooth and slick!!
