I picked some up from DD a couple of weeks ago and am looking to give it a whirl on my '04 allroad with some light swirling. I have a Flex 3401 and 3403 with a variety of LC pads. Wanted to see if anyone has used this yet and/or has any before/afters to share. I haven't seen anything else posted about it yet. Thanks.

I just received mine but I dont think i will be using mine anytime soon, as i recently did paint correction on my car.

if you look thru Phil (Detailers' Domain) posts in this forum, he has done some cars with the power finish.

alternatively, you can check out the AG forums as well.

but anyway I'm sure you will not be disappointed as it is a Menzerna product.
and seeing that it is actually a bit stronger and better than 106 , it should fit most of our needs.
i seldom find the need for something really strong (eg. SIP) on my own cars.
having said that, its because we are so an*l and picky about our maintenance wash techniques, we are able to keep swirls to a minimum.

PO203S have the same cut(3,5) as SIP but slightly higher gloss (3,5 compared to 3.0 SIP).

PO203 have 3,2 in cut and 3,8 in gloss.

That information is not correct. Where did you get the information from?

    PO203S is a 2000 grit polish with cut 3,5 and gloss 3,5

I could be wrong,,,,its happened before-

    Description from Menzerna:

    a) " A one-step scratch remover and polish, only requiring a final polish on dark colors. I will
need to develop more data before giving you more. Of course, this was OEM
developed product to remover a 2500 grit sanding scratch in one step."

Here is some information from Menzerna about this new product-

    Cutting-edge brilliance
Menzerna develops new varnish finish “Power Finish”

    b) " It is free from silicone and can thus be var-nished over, achieves a brilliant high gloss without holograms or matting and can be used on all varnishes, most of all the extremely hard, scratch-resistantand dark ones. It is this combination, in connection with its one-step application and its speediness, that makes this new “Power Finish”of Menzerna so unique on the market. “It is a worldwide unique product”, enthuses Product Development Manager Dr. Michael Hauber when het alks about the newest result of his work. The user only has to use one polishing agent. The optimal balance of bonding and polishing minerals minimizes formation of dust. And all stress marks on the varnish disappear in only six seconds, as this recipe is also adapted to the clock cycles. The OEM polish, which was initially developed for the automotive industry, but can also be used well in paint shops, is particularly suited to polishes of the granulation 2500 to 3000, as reported by Hauber. Most suited to polishing are polishing sponges by Menzerna. Like all varnish finishes of the company, Power Finish is also the result of close cooperation with varnish manufacturers and industry customers, whose high requirements it meets completely."

Sorry for my hard words, I wasn´t planing to "sound" like a bully.

I got my information straight from Michael Welker, Menzerna Gmbh.

    PO203S was called PO152 before.

Btw, I love your posts - plenty of information :thumb:

Im wondering if this 203 is just re-bottled Intensive Polish. The description and characteristics of Intensive and 203 are almost identical, slightly less cut than SIP and more than 106. Plus Intensive Polish will finish down last step ready if you do it right...Things that make you say hmmmmmmm...

Hey, maesal, thanks for the reply. Any info on what you're using it with, machine, pads, speeds, etc.?

No, I use it like SIP (aka IP RD3.02). It gives great results with wool. Then I use Menzerna FF.

I use it via rotary, with wool or orange/polishing pads, for correction. The speeds, like SIP, I start at ~900 rpm for spreading, then ~1200, then ~1500-1800, then finish ~900 rpm to minimize the holograms.

I'm curious to know if their claims about being able to finish off nicely is indeed true or not esp on soft japanese paints.

hopefully it will remove the need for the FF 085.

I'm my case, I'll finish always with Menzerna FF (106FA, 85RE5 or 85RD), but it finishes nicely. Well, it depends on the pad used, the machine, technique, etc...
For example, in this F355 I did 6 months ago I used rotary, Meguiars polishing pad and PO203:

Just finished using this on my SG Pcar. I'm not a pro and wanted to try a one step product as I had light scratches and swirls. I used my pc and a ccs white pad. I would recommend using a ccs green as I had to work it more than I like. If you work the polish it finishes great. I then finished the car with Glanz and OID. I'm very happy with theresults. I'll try to get a few pictures up.
