I've watched the videos and read the posts about steam cleaners and am convinced i need one. I will be starting a mobile detailing business in the summer and a steamer is like an all-in-one dream machine. The plan is to use the steamer on the entire vehicle. I'd like to know if you've used the VX-5000? If so, would you be able to wash the exterior of the car with it? Or would you recommend spending the extra money and getting the Vapor Chief? BTW, has anyone tried the Optima Steam Cleaner sjecorp.com
I have the VX5000, and for interior and engine bay work I think it is awesome... it is small, light, and has plenty of steam... great unit for the price... But if you want to do exteriors it is a no go... not big or powerfull enough imo... I'm sticking to the pressure washer/two bucket method for exterior...
