Ive always been into these type of films (and in general, well directed British films:afro Saw the trailer for this new film, Bronson. Looks amazing. Said its based on a true story so I did some research, yep this guy was a very violent inmate who made some wacky demands during his hostage takeovers in prisions... trailer YouTube - Bronson Official HD Trailer - Opens 10/9 Anyone else intrigued?
Looks to be a good flick. I like those British movies too. I'm still waiting to hear something about Richie's film- The Real Rock N Rolla.
Looks like it should be a good movie. I'm starting to become a fan of British movies. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is one that I don't grow tired of watching. Edit: Just a quick update. I just went to the movie site and it said that it was supposed to come out on DVD this July. If indeed that's the case, then that sucks because I was really looking forward to watching it in a movie theatre.
Found another site that says it's coming out next month. I don't know why this site is saying it's on DVD.BRONSON THE MOVIE - OFFICIAL SITE - ON DVD JULY 6 2009
Loved Snatch... Layer Cake is one of my tops however! Also the Escapist which I saw not to long ago was very well done!
Well I just finished watching Bronson and I have to say that I was disappointed in it. Not much of a story in it, just a bunch of violence and a whole lot of male nudity. It's got more sausage in it than a butcher shop. I'm glad I only rented it for one day. It wouldn't have been worth the gas, time or cost of ticket to see it in a theater.
Layer Cake is one of my tops of all times, amazing movie. The hilarity and action in these types of movies are epic. Layer Cake, Rock n Rolla, Snatch, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrells, are all awesome movies. Bank job is kinda similar and is a good movie as well. Like Cooter said I cant wait for The Real Rock n Rolla to come out.
If you look on IMDB it says it out in 2008, wonder if it was released across the pond first before making its way to the states.
