Hello everyone, I hope this is the correct location to post this question.

I have a boat window with tiny hard grey specks all over it. I think the coating from the cover melted onto the glass.

I know this is a car detailing forum, but I have seen some pretty amazing pics here so I thought maybe someone might have an idea.

I tried glass cleaner, then acetone, then clay (CG medium grade), then Goo Gone. Tried a Magic Eraser and then a scotch-brite pad, which worked but scratched the glass.

    Thanks in advance!

Try these pads with a glass polish (Autoglym)- Alternative pads- these 4-inch ‘Metal Polishing Pads’ are made of course, 600 grit nylon (Scotchbrite®) and are designed for hard / rough surfaces like aluminium diamond plate, pitted aluminium, chrome, and glass. Is the glass flat? What about using a scraper or even a razor b lade very carefully?

razor blade carefully could work. Also try #000 Steel Wool. That stuff does wonders, and won't scratch your windows.
