i'm trying to expand my pdr business by doing detailing. i have notice chemicalguy.com has a nice detailing kit i could get for just under 500 bucks. i just wanted to get your thoughts about the kit. kevin ps: i hope i posted this in the right section!
That is a nice kit. I do like it but not for me. Do you have any experience with a Rotary Buffer?...:thumb:
http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f31/northern-va-7701.html#post114042 other thread i made about me. i have never used a high speed buffer but i have used one where it doesn't spin with you apply a lot of pressure. I'm aware you can take out some paint with the high speed one and i do intend to practice on some panels with one. kevin
just curious, why isn't this kit for you? kevin btw: here are some pictures of my previous cars painted my whole front end to fill in the rock chips! 97 Honda Accord (cd5 h22) h22 hondata s100 dc sport headers exedy clutch racing hart wheels koni yellows and a lot more!
Hey Force, The kits go deeper than you might want to go. If you wanted to use 6" pads this one comes with 8" pads. Do you know anything about The Edge buffing system? Alot of people don't care for it. It comes with the Edge system. There are alot of questions that can't be answered in one kit... They want to charge you 259.00 for the Dewalt polisher and you can get it for a lot cheaper if you look in the right place. Everyone wanted to stay away from this loaded question. There are other kits to look at autogeek.com... Maybe you start with the basics and work your way up. It will cost you less money in the long run instead of dumping 500.00...You may not like the dewalt. It's a good machine but I like Makita. In short, It takes a long time to build so take your time to build...:thumb:
