Nothing was out of the ordinary except the hood. Near the front of the hood I was getting readings below 100 microns, with 82.7 being the lowest. Other than that the average was around 125-130 microns, very good for a healthy BMW I started out with a white Lake Country pad with 106FA just to see what the results would be. It improved the finish but did not remove the heavy RIDs still in the paint. I then tried the combination of a orange Lake Country pad and SIP on speeds of 800rpms --> 1500 --> 1800 --> 1100. Again, this improved the overall finish but would not get rid of the pesky RIDs still in the paint. Next I tried a purple Lake Country wool pad with Meguiar's 105, and bam that was the perfect execution of cut. This is my second time using 105 and I'm totally convinced and hooked. What an amazing product, and I just have to figure out what to do with my three unopened bottles of SIP uhhhh.
