I know, I could of asked this question before, but only now seriously decided to get a pressure washer. I thinking to get electric pressure washer, most likely Karcher.
What do you guys think of it??? I also want a foam cannon (lance), so I can make that "shaving cream" car bath. Does a foam cannon that Phil sells work with Karcher??? I don't wanna be going through Home Depot, trying to find modification parts just to fit it to work...

    Any help is appreciated...

    TIA...

I recently got my foaming lance and all I did was replace the Karcher piece with a male quick connect that just plugs into the end of my wand. If you check with Phil, it should be possible with his CamSpray unit as well. :thumb:

I did a light research on pressure washers myself and IIRC from reading some of SuperBee's posts, he mentioned that the better units are powered by Honda engines and have triple plunger pumps that can be replaced.

True.. Those are superb machines. If this is your main gig and you will be using it EVERY day that is the way to go..

I do one to two cars a week and my electric Karcher has taken good care of me..and the price was oh so sweet

Yeah, I'm thinking what's the best route for me. Buying the better pressure washer up front would be the wisest idea but I'm thinking that I'll probably start with one of the cheaper units like a Karcher and see how far it'll take me. :shead:

Which Karcher do you have by the way Jason? Is it the same one you listed from BL?

I got that 1500 PSI Karcher from BL's last year. Its done pretty good. I kinda wish it had more PSI though. But for the money, hard to beat.

It is made by a company called PA out of Italy. I ordered mine from Rich at Polished Bliss in the UK. Was about $100 delivered. Completely overbuilt. I love it. The guys I get my Pwasher stuff from say that PA makes some of the best pwasher accessories...period.

Since you're here in the States, you can also PM shadybreal. I got mine from him.

Yeah, I think I'm going to stick it out with the Karcher from BL since it's really hard to beat. I'll see how long the Karcher will last me but if it does fail on me and/or business picks up, I'll definitely have to invest in a better unit.

Thanks, guys. What about gas pressure washers??? They seem to be quite more expensive, are they worth the big bucks??? Maybe for washing around the house???
Again, I'm not looking to spend over $150 on a pressure washer, because I also have to get the foam lance, just wondering...

It will be pretty hard to find a nice gas pw for $150. I looked around alot and they're just not cheap like the electric's. For $65 though, hard to pass that up. If mine tears up, i'll just go and buy another one.

If anyone is looking for a REALLY NICE gas powered unit, I have a 6HP Kohler available. I believe its about 2.5 gpm and around 2500 psi. It was brand new a year ago and cost $1500. Would let it go for $900. You will never have to replace this unit. I just got a brand new 13hp Kohler for myself. Electric start, 4gpm and 3000 psi. Sweeeeet!!

wow that's cheap, pressure washers here locally are not very cheap and not sure if it's the same unit I saw but I saw a Karcher looked the same as this one bu ti could be wrong for around $300 ish.

So Deep Gloss do you think you can pick one up for me? Or if anyone has these units what are there thoughts? Heck for that price even if it lasts me only a year that's not bad at all...so anyone want to help me out and get me one of those units, at that price it's hard to ignore.

Sorry Nica, I think there is something wrong with your computer. For some reason your post says you only want ONE. Must be a typo or some kind of glitch. LOL:poke:

lol..yea well this pressure washer will only be the temporary unit, the real unit will come in later. So for now one will do just fine.
