    Hey guys,

I was wondering what you guys would recommend to remove moderate swirl marks from a black 1997 Mercedes Sl500. I've worked on some high end cars before but nothing to this extent. What is the paint like on these vehicles?

    I have:

    Power gloss
    Power finish
    PO85RD

    Orange/ White / Black CCS

If you cannot purchase products before your detail always just start with your least aggressive product/pad and go from there.

I'll probably start with Power finish and a white pad, but I was wondering if anybody had experience working on a car like this.

Last year I did a 02 E500 and was able to reduce swirls by 50% with my griots ro, 203S, and green uber. That alone blew away the owner.

You will be fine with the products you mentioned. Start with Power Finish and white. I had a client with a late 90s 500SL and it was easy to correct. No ceramic clear. Have fun!

Thanks Ken. Don't you guys just love when a customer throws you the keys and tells you to make it perfect?

    BTW your APC works great.
