Rose early at 6am to make a 2 1/2 hour road trip with a friend of mine for a little drift event, good times were had by all. Before the event, I told my friend I would have to wash the car so it could look its best. He thought it was futile as rain was in the forecast, but being stubborn, and enjoying clean cars, I washed the Z anyways. Just my luck, it rained off and on for half of the entire trip. When we arrived my friend got out of the car and said "DAMN!" I thought something was amiss, and then he says "Your car looks freshly washed!" To which I replied "Dirt knows better than to stick to my car." Actually, I attribute it to massive amounts of M-Seal and Pete's 53. Enough about that. There were a few cars there drifting. Enough to keep it interesting, but not so many that it was one big crowded cluster f. A few S14s, some AE86 Corrollas, etc. There was a really mint FD RX7, but we failed to get pics. On the trip home I saw a flat black Skyline who ate up the photo op as my friend was hanging out of my car to get pics as I held him in. Also saw a new ZR-1, GT500, GT2, and an NSX. The Skyline had a CF bumper insert and a CF hood, and probably a pillars also. Also, that wasn't my tire that let go, lol. That was one of the many sets destroyed that day by the green 240SX. It was a lot of fun, and next time, perhaps pics of the Z in action.
