Well I think this will do the trick! [ It was not that cold in the garage tonight but I wanted to try out my new toy. It started off about 45 degrees. [ I cranked up my heater for about 5 or 6 minutes. [ The temp jumped up right away! [ After I turned it off, it contiunted to climb to a toasty 55 degrees. Thanks for the help Wolfpacker and Motor City! Oh no carbon monoxide issues!
SWEET.. you will be nice and warm , no more froozen toes for you!! You will scoff at cold weather from now on Aint no stopping you!!!:woot:
Good deal, now you'll be able to kick back and drink hot chocolate and toast marshmellows by the fire.:yippie: Just kiddin...nothing like being in a warm shop when it is freezing out! Dave
Thanks guys! I was able to work on my car for a little bit. I wanted to let you know how the VRP was holding up. I did another ONR wash, AW, cleaned a dressed the engine with 303 and cleaned my rims. I did nothing to the tires other than hit them with the pressure washer (water only) at the car wash. I know I didn't do anything to the wheel wells. It is going to rain tomorrow. Looking good considering all the salt on the roads. I used the VRP on 1/21/08
Those heaters are very nice. My brother inOhio has one a little bigger and it heats his 3 car garage quickly!
Those are great heaters. Just be careful not to light your leg on fire like I almost did once.:giggle:
I bet that is real nice to have heat in there....Like Chris said; "Just be careful not to light your leg on fire like I almost did once".... I almost done the same thing Chris did on my paw-n-laws heater .... Congrats:applause2:
it's about time someone posted up a heater that actually works...the car is looking good well kept with the new heater maintaining it will be a lot easier...
Trust me that is one of the questions I asked Wolfpaker. I really is not that hot on the sides. I just would not want to step directly in front of it. Thanks for the concern! Yep, I thought of that! I set it up off to the side of the garage. Also, NO animals in the garage while the heater is on. I already told the dogs the rules. This is so much more powerful than I need. But I got a heck of a deal on eBay! 89.13, plus 25.00 shipping. :thumb: The 35,000 BTU heater at Lowe's was 99.00. So I figured bigger is even better! :mounty:
