wash mits. which one is better?

hey guys i was doing some looking around on different types of wash mits. there a few that stand out but was wnodering what you guys use and why.

here is what is see:

1 microfiber mits
2. wool mits. i have seen a few of these but DD has them for 25. while others are about 15-20.
3. LC wash mits


Have you guys noticed any difference using either?

 

If you are going to go wool..i would suggest looking into Rubbish boys (sponsor here)...i hear their mitts are the some of the best out there.

Not a Fan of M/F Mits

I like the Lambs Wool/Sheep Skin

I really wish I could locate the old cotton mits, I use them to Spot Clean carpets/ clean leather. They have more Bite then any others, but I can't find them locally anywhere....

Anybody Know where to locate 100%Cotton Mits? I would Buy a Case of them.

 

Ive never liked wash mits.....way to bulky and awkward for me.

although i use sponges now too, the best mitts i used were all sheepskin ones. they last longer than my sponges too. i dislike the microfiber mitts because they are heavy after you dip it into the water. it doesn't glide on the paint like the sheepskin does

 

I use both a MF and a Schmitt. I prefer to use the MF with ONR and Schmitt otherwise. The Schmitt holds a lot more soap and suds that a MF and glides over the paint.

 

Rubbish Boy's Wool Mitts are the best you can get and while you are at it, make sure you get yourself some RBOE.

 

+1 for the Detailer Domain Uber mitts . I use those and the Dread lock style microfibers they work great .

 

I like the Vroom MF mitts from Target, they are extremely plush (think Shag Rag x2 or 3) and they hold up very well. They works better than wool for ONR too.

Wool are nice, but they just don't hold up well enough (IME). The super plush MF mitts I use don't induce any more marring than wool and just overall work very well for me.

 

I prefer Zymol and Uber sponge.
