    Hi Guys!

So im looking for a new wheelcleaner brush that I can use on rims that are really dirty. I only use P21s And Sonax full effect, but I dont get the rims looking 100%. I have too aggiate to get them looking sparkling. So what would you guys suggest?

    Best regards, Fil.

I recommend Phil's Boars hair wheel brush. It has a short handle which I prefer and it's the brush I plan upgrading to

Are you using it on the faces of the wheels or the barrels?

ok, maybe I´ll try that. Detailersdomain?

Not the barrels, the face of the rim. I´ve tried a couple of them, but I feel they are to "weak" if you understand me.. :shead: I mean it dont cut it with the really dirty rims.

Negative, don't use a Boar's Hair Brush. It is ultra-soft and has extremely little scrubbing power so I wouldn't recommend.

What I would recommend is the Swissvax Wheel Brush or the Raceglaze 28mm Brush. Those are non-scratching and provide effective agitation on the rims.

If it doesn't have to be a brush, then you can try a foam wash sponge like the Uber Sponge (cut it in half if it's too big). Foam sponge will provide the best agitation/scrubbing power without scratching the wheel surface.

Ok Nice! Maybe sponge is the way to go. How would you say this works vs. A wheelbrush? I Will definitly try sponge.

I like using an Autogeek microfiber mitt for the face of the wheels. I use brushes on the wheel wells and tires.

Some kind of foam sponge will provide the best scrubbing power because you can just apply more pressure to the sponge with your hand, in order to scrub away the tough brake dust.

Brushes are really only limited to the stiffness of the bristles, and if they're too stiff they will just scratch the wheels.

I love my Griot's Garage 4 Finger Wheel Mitt.

Great for reaching into tightly spaced wire mesh wheels.

In the same conditions, my Raceglaze greatly outlived my Swissvax. Go for the RG, and consider getting the whole set from Ken.

I have been searching for months to find a brush that will clean these wheels

and I have found that nothing beats this

I have bought over twenty different brushes and this work on both chrome and coated surface wheels

Pig, those rims don't look very complicated to clean. SV Wheel Brush didn't do it for you?

those wheels are two faced and the german brake dust builds up along the hub of the wheel between the spokes. Almost nothing gets between the spokes and agitates the dirt in all three directions.

I use a brush for the barrels and around the lugs and a MF mitt for everything else.

Those wheels are among the most difficult I think I've ever cleaned. When they're dirty, they're very stubborn to get looking proper.

I have the Swissvax brush and it has been one of my favorites, the Raceglaze looks similar so I would expect the same results. I do want to pick up something to maintain the barrels from the front though.

I have the Eshine boars hair brush, i like it for the face, then i use the rg brushes for the nooks and crannies and for the barrels (XL)

The Daytona Speed brush is a good wheel cleaning tool, however, they tend to break after extended use. Now that mine just broke I will be getting the Raceglaze brush for the wheel barrels. Other than that, I use the Swissvax brush and a really nice brush I found at Autozone for the faces.
