This Corvette was for the most part finished yesterday, but I asked the owner to put it in the garage for the night so I could come back in the morning and top the sealant I put on the night before. I did his F250 and his wife’s Lexus the day before. He claimed it only needed a quick wash and wax, but of course it needed a lot more. He decided to let me do a full detail.

    Process:

    - Wash w/ Schmitt and foam gun
    - Dry w/ Guzzlers
    - Polish w/ SIP and green pad w/ HF rotary
    - Polish w/ 106 and white pad w/ FLEX
    - Sealed w/ DG 105 and red pad w/ PC
    - Waxed w/ MAX WAX and red w/ PC (next am)

Oh man ,that paint is dripping .great depth. Did you find it necessary to top it with wax or was it the customer's request?

I really couldn't tell much of a difference, but I just wanted to give it a try since it was too cold to start washing this morning. The owner was fine w/ just 105. I've never tried topping a sealant before so it was an opportunity to see how it worked.

Thanks for answering that as I have a job planned for Monday with 105 and asked Al-53 that same thing and he said what you did ... probably wouldn't need it but wouldn't hurt anything either. I'm not planning on doing the wax and just letting the 105 stand on it's own. The car looks awesome shady you did quite a job and used 3 different machines no less! Looks like you have been busy!

DG 105 is the only sealant that gives my metallic Grey Civic a real deep shine.I have tried all kinds of waxes/sealants but 105 is totally different.
The only thing I use to go on top of it is DG Aquawax ,I have tried Souveran liquid wax a couple of times but it seems to mute the flakes, but AW works just fine.
