ohhh JS is my new fav prdouct...Mark from CG hooked it up and ive been using it on every detail so far....esp on teh wheels I usually do 2 coats (as directed) and have found it to be reallllly impressive anyone else topping a pastewax (eg: petes 53) after? ....i've cleaned my wheeels in a flash after having this stuff on...not to mention the easy on easy off, i love applying it ALL OVER, yup even on the trim. anyone who hasn't tried it...should...hah :ahem: ask phil haha hes got 3 gallons of it!
is this a nano-sealant or WOWA type product? I'm not sure I can justify that kind of cost for a sealant (albeit, a great looking one). Someone talk me into it. Pete
its worth the money! just try it out han. paul might hook you up with a sample if you are making a order.
I'm going to get my chance to try this highly praised product soon, the Chemical guys GOD has hooked me up with some.didn't know you guys use it on wheels!
bringing back an old thread because i just applied js 109.. maybe a lil too thick as i used about 2 oz.. but i love slapping it on.. one side with machine which actually took me longer to apply then the other half with a SV black app.. but i will say it was easier to remove with the machine.. i am always scared when i apply a sealant or wax of it not covering the paint enough.. it took me about an hour to apply and remove it and now i am waiting 30-45 minuts to give her a final buff with some new green mf's paul at cg sent me for free after the red with white edge fluffers all bled like crazy!!! i mean they stained a sink red.. i had to use softscrub with bleach like 3 times to get it out.. and the sad thing is i LOVE the look and FEEL of those red towels.. i much prefer them to silk banded towels.. anyways after each step i have noticed a HUGE difference.. the largest comming from cleaner fluid.. but then jet seal deffinitly added a crispness to the paint.. i can't wait to try BOS as a topper then tomorrow i will add another coat of BOS and i should be set for the winter after a few interior things i need to vacume and dress with my new LEATHER MASTER kit. plus i finnally got a spade for cleaning the hard to reach spots for the rear window. i will post some pics later this week.. i have some after polish i forgot to get some after cleaner fluid.. i will get some after JS is completely buffed off though it looks like it is now but you know there is always some hiding somewhere.. then some BOS and final product pics!!
I really want to try Jet seal 109 it sounds like the bomb. Not as bad as RBOE though...maybe I can put RBOE over JS109
i don't see why not.. i have put Crystal Rock over it with amazing results.. deffinitly a big difference imo in after crystal rock...biggest of any lsp i have used.. i am going with BOS for the winter.. ieven though crystal rock has better durability (so i have heard because this is the first time using BOS) still i feel hat since i cannot keep the car as clean during the winter i would be wasting the wax..i am not putting two coats of jetseal on.. i looked at the layer from every angle to make sure i had every panel completely covered.. even on black trim it came right off with ease.. only the thicker applications left a lil more of a film requiring twice the easy effort to buff off.. i think that was my first mistake with jetseal was not making 10000% sure i had it all buffed off before the lsp... it caused a bad hazy effect which took 2 coats of a cleaner to remove... still this time around using SV cleaner fluid was an almost equal improvement to topping with js 109.. the oils in cleaner fluid really add a glossy effect unlike any cleaner i have used and is much much much easier to use then zymol hd cleanse!!! really extremely happy with the palate i created with polishing with a 3m uk black waffle finishing pad and 3m backing plate with 85 rd then a small 3m uk backing plate 3.5 inches i believe and a 4 inch orange 3m uk flat pad for the head, fog and tail lights. i even used a black waffle uk finishing pad and 85rd to clean the exhaust and damn was that easy. i am gonna try and get more of the inside with the new menz metal polish i got. gtg have some fun!!!
hmm id like to try some of this to compare it with Blackfire sealant. Looking for a quickly curing sealant that can be topped with a wax in the same day, such as sn or rboe. Wonder how it compares to fk1000p, which can be instantly re-layered. When i can acquire the products i would like to try a 50/50 of 1000p>Sn and 109>sn on a hood or roof.
Bringing back an old thread... I too love the look and feel of Jetseal. Have been using it since last fall and currently topping it with Natty's Blue. Seems to hold up well to regular washes. Very easy to apply and gives a great shine. 16oz bottle is holding up well; have plenty more applications to go!
anyone tried and polycharge it to get better durability out of it. Then again i read a sealant test over on DW that said that all the user PCed sealants failed before the non user added PC sealant.
I have been using JS 109 for about three years and the product does everything I need it too do, appied it on my wife's car two years ago right before halloween and her car was egged and it saved it so it's earned it's stripes right there for me.
It has varied. I remember when Phil (FMINUS) had about 4 gallons of it that he was selling. They were all different versions and some were thicker than others.
Meh. I got a gallon of EZ Creme Glaze and Butter Wet Wax, wound up trading most of it off. Unless you're a pro detailer who swears by it on every detail, it's def overkill in my book.
