The guys who talk smack about others detailing exotics are just jealous (the stereotypical "hater"). I wouldn't get all riled up about them.

What's that saying about "When complete strangers hate you, you know you've made it" or something like that.

I don't dispute any of what you are saying, just inputting my .02.

As I always say, "it all comes out in the wash". Bob I feel you man. I'm not about to start pointing fingers or throw around accusations (I'm not saying you are either in any way), but when there's shadyness afoot, I have no problem seeing those acting in a dishonest manner being put on "front street".

 

Guys in the end of it all, we may never know the whole truth as it lies with Carlos, and I seriously doubt he's gonna post up on this thread.

There were a LOT of things that I didn't agree with Carlos on and the way he ran the site as if he were a "god". But in the end, it was HIS site and he could pretty much to what he wanted.

I personally feel that DB was getting beyond his control so he sold it, and started a new one with more absolute control from the beginning.

Also, Carlos never made DB what it is today, it's all the members that contributed to the site. We are a huge community of people that share a passion and some ideals. But in the end, most of us will never meet one another, much less talk on the phone. Only through posts and PM's.

So I think it somewhat silly to try and bash his name to the ground, because in the end of it, you're just like him.

Honestly, if Carlos is reading this... He's probably sitting back laughing at all of you. I know I would be.


(Carlos started something good, doesn't mean we have to let become trash.... it's all within the peoples power)

Why does it matter so much that he started a new forum?

If you dont like him, dont join, simple as that. All youre doing is giving him publicity over here. I hadnt even heard about the forum until now.

Its funny that something like detailing can create so much drama.

I converse with a few members via text messaging quite regularly. But you are right. Probably never meet in person with most of them.

For sure! I'm a converted Autopia guy. And being here is very enjoyable. There its pure talk, and although there are people who care there, I can find a better answer here almost all the time... But my polish question still wasnt answered
